Welcome Caregiver! Whether you’re caring for yourself or caring for a loved one, CONGRATULATIONS on finding Support here !
If this is your first introduction to me, let me give you a little background about why I focus on brain health. Going back almost 2 decades, my daughter’s head broke the windshield of a car as she was crossing the street on her way to school. This was the beginning of my brain health journey. A few years later, my husband re-injured an old brain injury, resulting in a diagnose of a catastrophic traumatic brain injury. My mother opted to have her brain tumour removed a few years after my husband’s diagnosis. But most recently I fell and fractured my cheekbone. This was not the first time I’ve injured my head and I’ve got to tell you
THERE IS HOPE!
Let’s not pretend I’m a doctor, I am not a doctor. The information here is meant for education and entertainment. Please seek out professional medical advice if you require treatment or before adding new routines (looking for better wording check website disclaimer). Caregiver, that’s what some people refer to me as, others tell me I’m the sandwich generation taking care of children and parents both at any age but requiring support in their lives.
Before I started my brain health journey, I had no idea the significance that drinking enough water daily, would make in a healthy life, adding quality to life. I was just going through life moment by moment, day by day. Have you heard “you are what you eat”? Do you know our bodies are made up of a majority of water? Drinking water also supports detoxing our bodies. Life is such a mystery, but I think you would agree that science has helped us to understand some of those mysteries. Now I have studies in class with doctors and other health care professionals to learn how to best support my loved ones and loving sharing what I have learned with others for free.
With technology advancing at record speed so is our ability to help ourselves.
I’ve been told that my doctor can only advise on the things they have studied. After my daughter was hit by a car and the ER released her things appeared ok from the outside. A brain injury is also known as the invisible injury. I was told by my doctor on a follow up that the behavior my daughter was exhibiting after her accident was only a phase as she was in her first year of high school and going into puberty. This doctor has since learned more about TBI (traumatic brain injury) and understands symptoms can often be emotional and behavioral. The decision this mother made was to never stop searching for support for all our wellness healing journeys.
This is an opportunity you will be glad you fully investigated!
Technology is always presenting us with new opportunities. We are not all open to change, you get that! My husband didn’t believe the latest in wellness technology was anything but woo woo. To humor me he agreed to use it, after all nothing was going to change according to him. Well I saw results in 3 days then again another big improvement in his health on the 8th day of using this latest wellness technology. Truth be told he never accepted the technology as working until after a year of using it. We all don’t have the same levels of self awareness, you get that!
The truth also involves our bodies having everything it needs to heal itself!
Ever wondered how some people have miracle healings or how more and more people are able to improve their quality of life beyond anything their doctors told them would be possible. Check out the 4 part series linked here. Lots of information that is all back by new science. Science means there have been independent studies done, multiple doctors digging deep into the science to try to prove it wrong. This sh!% works. But I completely understand if you’re not ready to hear it. We are all on our own journey of life!
