You are not alone if your family has been affected with traumatic brain injury (TBI). I know I felt like I was alone when it first happened to me. My husband and daughter had both survived a TBI. But then I met Dr. Komer and his daughter committed suicide and his journey began to help others and I am so grateful he is part of my life today.
This was one of my earlier reads in my caregiving journey of becoming an expert. I would recommend anyone reading this and if they are interested in booking to see him there is information in the book on how to get on the waiting list. If you would like to discuss my personal experience with Dr. Komer I would be happy to schedule an appointment with you, contact me here to chat more privately.
My life was so affected years before I even had any idea about brain injury. My husband had suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) in his teenage years, some 20 years before we met. My father had been in 3 serious car accidents that I am sure also had him living as a survivor of TBI most of my life with him.
